Obsidian Computers - On Hold

Currently I had t put Obsidian Computer projects on hold due to a home fire. All my current clients have been handed over to responsible businesses and I hope to continue business with you all soon after things have been settled.

Monthly Update

I have been kept pretty busy by Maggio Enterprises which is a God send. It is helping me balance out all the issues I am having with my other business endeavor. I might also start receiving business hardware upgrade requests from them as an Authorized DMEasy hardware upgrade dealer. We will see where this heads to.

The week of March 9th it looks like I might be headed to FL to do some training and updating. I am keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that the training does not interfere with my daughter's birthday, we all can use money and more PR but, the family should always come first.

New Knowledge - Postponed

Well I just remembered... Today I am driving down to Maggio Enterprises to continue assisting them with their project. I will have to continue my studies later and am now getting ready for my 'favorite' 2-3 hour drive to South Jersey!

Tommorrow is my wife's birthday!!

New Knowledge

Well today and yesterday I have been spending most of my time studying VBS2008 and ADO.NET practices. It's very interesting, I even decided to browse some of the concepts behind Silverlight2. Silverlight seems very interesting for Multimedia rich websites and sites that want a highly attractive, usable UI. Since I am currently not working on any projects that need Silverlight I am putting my studies of it to the side. I am concentrating my efforts on database manipulation, updating, querying, and end user interfaces. If any of you know any good books for ADO.NET through Visual Studio 2008, I'd appreciate any feedback.

Well today I spent all day upgrading the Jersey City Medical Supplies' website quite a bit. I used a Burgundy color scheme since that is what their logo is.

I also embedded a direction map from Google maps to see how that works out.

Maggio Enterprise

Well, yesterday I finished doing the following for Maggio Enterprises(slightly filtered to protect contract practices):

• New Fees for established
• New Modifiers Obtained
• Suggestions on Enhancements

When I got home around 10pm I just passed right out on my bed, probably from exhaustion since I was up since 4:40am. I am worried that we have not paid the taxes for Jersey City Medical Supplies yet. I sent an email just now, 4:29am to Cam Pardo's office regarding this matter reminding them I contacted them on Decemeber 19th because I need the pin and password to pay the taxes online, also I need the information regarding which Tax Quarters were paid. Hopefully they will get back to us soon. I do regress, this blogspot/website is to be dedicated to Obsidian Computers, I should not be posting about my other business endeavors.

Computers Repairs and Maintenance (908) 220-5195

Well, it is the beginning of a New Year and I spent my New Year's Eve in Sam's Club where I saw a few good deals on PCs, I was bored. So I decided to fix a few errors I saw on the computer screens, there was one computer I could not fix since it was a bluetooth keyboard and Sam's didn't put new batteries into it sooo there was no way to manipulate that computer, I did not want to go all out and switch keyboards with another computer so I left it as it is.

I am curious about getting a massage, but not just a one hour one, I would like a 2-3 hour massage... Hmm, wonder if I should try it out.

Today I am heading down to South Jersey to help out a company called Maggio Enterprises, they are a DME Software company that I have signed a contract with to work for them, they have provided me with a cell phone. I can honestly say they provide the better payment part of my business.
